Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or interacting with the NEAT Interactive Topology Visualizer & Lunar Lander Playground ("Service", "Application", or "Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this application.
2. Educational & Research Simulation Disclaimer
This playground is created solely for educational, demonstrative, and scientific exploration of artificial intelligence, evolutionary computing, and neuroevolution algorithms. The 2D physics engine, thruster models, and telemetry are idealized simplifications and are not intended for real-world aerospace, navigational, or mission-critical applications.
3. Intellectual Property & Academic Attribution
The underlying algorithm showcased in this software—NeuroEvolution of Augmenting Topologies (NEAT)—is based on the seminal scientific research published by:
Kenneth O. Stanley and Risto Miikkulainen (2002). "Evolving Neural Networks through Augmenting Topologies." Evolutionary Computation, 10(2), 99–127.
All intellectual and scientific credit for the conceptual inventions of historical innovation markers, topological speciation via compatibility distance, and genetic crossover belongs to the original researchers.
